Resources on the Web for viewing maps:
- Google maps (has satellite imagery option)
- Map Quest (good for street maps)
- Maps on Us (can return a lat/long for a point location)
- Topo Zone (enter a Place name, view the location on a USGS Topo map)
- Google Earth (enter a Place name, and “fly” to that location…quality of satellite imagery varies)
(requires broadband connection and does not run on older computers)
